thank you for supporting the west coast surfers on the road

Thank you for the Support!!
We can not thank everyone that supported this team enough. Going to Durban from Saldanhabay was well over R10k per head and we had more than enough resources and funds donated toward our tour to comfortably travel without any hold ups. This was a true inspirational experience for our West Coast team, experiencing the rich multi cultural heritage of South Africa for the first time, bringing home theses experiences and sharing it with the people from home, and in this way over came boundaries that once stood firmly in the way. Now the team have surf travelling prospects for the future.

Extreme Abilities is therefor a registered article 18 non profit company and we can write tax reclaim certificates for businesses that makes financial donations towards our tour.

weskus krewe reis na die ooskus

The team started in Saldanha on 5 April and returned again on 22 April. Our Weskus Krewe parasurf team safely returned from the long journey from the West Coast to the East Coast, from the cold Atlantic Ocean to the warm Indian Ocean. The teams hard training paid off with three medals in the bag. The tour duration was two weeks and the team made stops at various surf spots along the way. One of the tour highlights was the adaptive surf clinic in Victoria Bay. The team showcased surfing with disabilities and made some of the adaptive equipment available to accommodate a few brave first timers in the waves with the aim to establish a Garden Route adaptive surfing contingent. The team will definitely head back to VicBay in the near future for more clinics and competitions.

As part of the surfing development plan we incorporate drone footage as a learning tool, we make journal style surf movies for our surfers as progression reference and as an online platform to showcase their surf skills. For this tour we are planning a Weskus Krewe Surf movie and video series.

If you'd like to get in on the video action and barter for an exclusive feature as a sponsor on our videos, lets barter!
